um ya. so i forgot how to and what to write in this thing. kristen bird, you inspired me to write in this thing. o and when u called i was in class haha- and i got KICKED OUT cuz my cell phone rang. the stupid bastards. so then i just went to finish my pset which was due in 10 min. ill call u soon tho!
mit is fun. i miss everyone.
but i hav to go right now- to NY for dance competition @ columbia. i am excited because penn will be there= penn masala= HOTT. haha. um yea, so mit is hard but i am not dead yet. i cant wait till thanksgiving to see yall. |

i am back. so depressed. i am in love with india. despite the scorching heat, hardly any electricity, the mosquitos, the poverty, the pollution- i love it- the people, the culture, the environment, the values, the yoga, the integrity, the immense generosity, the blessings, the love- been in my room since last night, reminiscing, listening to indian music- abhijeet, bombay rockers, bunty bubbly, waqt, kaal, parineeta...i have a few pics, here is one pic of my hands which i thought was kinda cool:

WOW. india so far has been quite the experience. it has been hectic, insane, and utterly disgusting much of the time, but in the end i am LOVING IT here.
list because it is faster:
- hangin with my cuzins who are super-AMAZING
- going to the movies, pubs, and "discos" (quite the experience)
- waking up to a LIZARD on my bed
- having no electricity for FIVE days because it iS TOOO HOTT for it to work- yes, this means no AC
- i literally drench in sweat just SITTING down and never feel like eating
- the movie theaters are mind boggling here- very big and exciting
- watched BUNTY AUR BUBBLY: sush and neesh, that was THE CUTEST MOVIE EVER rani and abhishek rock
- beauty parloring
- the sector 15A market and rickshaws
- singing to indian songs with kirti (my 6 yr old cuz) and playing ANTAKSHARI .> KAAL, WAQT, BUNTY aur BUBBLY
- showers here = filling up a bucket of water and using a cup to dump it on yourself
- we got a refrigerator just dedicated to bottled water becz the water is too dirty to drink
- my dad built a basketball court in our backyard
- partying it up with the neighbors who definitely hav parties every other day
- VISITING COLLEGES here was sooo nice; me and my cuz met so many people and learnt so much about college life in india
- ICE CREAM
- visiting me mums old college- where AMITABH BHACHAN went
- having a rickshaw guy "bring" elecricity to our house through a generator
- RIDDHIMAN YADDHAV CALLED ME- THE GUY FROM SCI FAIR in my facebook pic on the right- it was the MOST AWKWARD convo of my life, but we are going to his house to visit
- SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING
- dance classes, working out at gym khanna
- and last but not least, waking up at 4 am EVERDAY to do YOGA with my grandpa
...it has been great, but living here, makes me realize how much we got in the U.S.- we have everything pretty much all the time and we are so lucky. i see beggars on the street everywhere, the conditions in which people manage to live and STAY HAPPY, how hard servants work but dont complain- it is just amazing to see this nation- an unbelievable culture undeniably rests here. |

i am in love with duPont Manual MST '05 (+ kristen and nikita). wow. it has truly been amazing- these 4 years of high school- with you all. each and every one of you mean so much to me and i am so happy that i have gotten the chance to bond with you all through prom, picnics, beach parties, grad parties, shopping, and so much more. i seriously could not have asked for a better set of friends- despite the unecessary drama and bitchiness- and i feel extremely lucky to have gotten close to such a wonderful, kind, and intelligent group of people.
this year has definitely taught me a lot about friends and human relationships- and their fragility. through observing, discussing, and talking with all of you, i have begun to see a lot of things in different lights. now, as we all separate, i will remember all our meaningful conversations- the good and the bad- and they will help me get through similar situations i will face in the future. thanks you guys.
but man i have had too much fun these past few weeks and all the graduation parties have been a great sucess (deepa, abhinav, dede, sam) and im so sad i have to miss the rest. sadness.
now i be off to india. to tell you the truth, i am scared about the journey- i ALWAYS get scared. it is going to be a total of 27 hours and 19 of those hrs are airtime. i hope i don't get sick like usual. because then i am miserable- yes MISERABLE. ah okay i will think happy thoughts.
o and i will try to have a graduation party in late August (right before school starts) so keep that open. |

wow. one week- of TOO MUCH FUN. that was THE BEST trip ever, but i am also really glad to be back so i can visit duPont Manual and catch up with betty. god i really want to tell EVERYONE EVERYTHING, but my best friend doesnt want to talk to me and noone else probably cares. but for real guys, i missed EVERY ONE of you. kristen- thanks for the calls and we do need to hang. sam- i love it how you called at 4 in the morning to ask if i needed a ride to school. chingy- sry i hung up after talking to u for ONE second but we were at awards & i miss our workouts (how is that going???). awww neesh- i just miss u in general (me and sush constantly talked about u and ur bitch slaps). abhinav- sry i didn't find ur friend. laura- i ACTUALLY miss humanities with u and viet. deya- i saw this grl that looked EXACTLY like you.
but OMG- this trip was truly amazing. incredible. enlightening. i am so in love with all the people i met and it is so astonishing at how close we all got. these people are just so AMAZING. idoshe, rebecca vitale, john rusic, david song, J Rezvanian, harish, jessica miles, srishti, shaleen, kim,ahhh EVERYONE. i loved everything:
- NEVER sleeping and 224783 people all crashing on the same bed at night.
- the RIKSHAWS
- going to the movies with KY like everyday and trying to break curfew every night.
- kingdom of heaven
- kicking and screaming
- dating david song
- KEVIN G- no joke, this guy gave me a card that said "ravi- bad ass MC"
- the plane and DRAMMAMINE
- listening to stories and having people trust you SO MUCh and discuss their life and tragedy with them
- the czech republic guys who offered me and sush vodka TOO many times
- partying in a 4th floor room with people we had never met who were drunk off their ass
- admiring Jai's BEAUTY and watching him be taken away by kinjal
- MEETING TWO INDIAN BOYS AND STALKING THEM (NEESH, one talked like a grl and he was sooo cute)
- RAWHIDE
- shaleen sleeping in our room EVERYDAY
- the italian restaurant and the fountains
- john and his "spooning" game
- harish actually opened up to us
- sush, thanks for the long talks
- the pin exchange and meeting the hott irish, danish, french, italian, and canadians
- the 8th floor ky parties- immense bonding time with KY team and treating jason like jesus
- new words: SKETCHY and MACKING
- iHOP
god too much too much too much. i cant even type it all so ill stop.

but yea u guys, this trip has made me think about so many things. just meeting with so many people and actually BONDING with them- discussing deep things with them has made me see things in a different light.
i really am going to miss these people i met at intel, but more importantly i am going to miss ALL of you: -dede, jane, sushi, kristen, sam, neesha, jessica, deya, amanda, chingy, dong, bob, allison, viet, laura, nikki, albert, phillip, deepa, dobbs, arthur, abhinav, quyet- and i really want to make our last days together the best ones we have ever had.
